Wendy Woolfson

Creative Communication

I’m a facilitator and consultant who can guide you toward your next steps with a focus on empowerment, recovery and wellbeing.

About Me

I specialise in supporting people to work collaboratively in meeting their own and others needs in a variety of settings.

My expertise is in trauma informed practice and therapeutic facilitation. I have extensive experience in working with children, young people, and their families and in 2016 developed the Out of Harm Toolkit for professionals and public to gain understanding of self-harm.

My lived experience of trauma, and parenting for Additional Support Needs (ASN) benefits young people who struggle to attend school due to mental health issues, as well as supporting their parents or carers. My experience of working in the Third Sector and education can aid with navigating complex systems.

There is an artistic dimension underpinning my work which includes storytelling, creative writing and craft, coming together in a unique process that supports mental health. I guide individuals and groups in a process of exploration and hold a safe and compassionate space for participants in collaborative, creative work.
